Join the Northern Middlesex Council of Governments (NMCOG) on March 12 at 1:00 pm for the At Home in Greater Lowell kickoff summit!
At Home in Greater Lowell is a year-long planning process in which people who live or work in the Greater Lowell region, including elected and appointed officials and staff in local, state, and federal government will come together to develop solutions for our region’s most pressing housing challenges.

The event will include a keynote presentation by:
State Representative James Arciero House Chair of the Joint Committee on Housing 2nd Middlesex District
And a panel discussion on the power of partnerships at local, regional, state, and federal levels by:
Robert Shumeyko, New England CPD Regional Director US Department on Housing and Urban Development
Eric Shupin, Chief of Policy Executive Office of Housing & Livable Communities
Dana LeWinter, Chief of Public and Community Engagement Massachusetts Housing Partnership
Keith Bergman, 37-year Municipal Manager, most recently in Littleton (2007-2018) Past President, Metropolitan Area Planning Council, Chair of Concord Municipal Affordable Housing Trust
Karen Frederick, Chief Executive Officer Community Teamwork
The event’s objectives are to:
Cultivate a shared commitment to address our region’s housing challenges;
Develop goals for the At Home in Greater Lowell strategy;
Identify resources, contacts, and other information available to help the planning process;
Develop research questions for our planning team to address in the plan.
