M3 hosts networking sessions before its online events. Register for an event to drop-in and connect.

What is “Virtual Networking”? M3 schedules thirty minutes before all events so that members can share their projects or concerns, meet other members, and make connections with panelists and event sponsors. It’s a time for casual conversation and to connect with old and new friends.

Do I have to stay for the whole event if I only want to join the networking session? Feel free to drop by for a few minutes when you can. We would love for you to stay for the entire event, but we want to encourage members to stay engaged in ways that work for their schedules.

Do I need to register for virtual networking? We do ask for members to register for the event in order to receive Zoom links and log-in information. 

What if I’m not so sure about participating or don’t have anything to share? If you don’t want to participate in networking, but want to hear/see what other members are sharing, you can turn off your Zoom video capability. The moderator won’t call on participants with their video turned off.
