The Coats4Vets event

Representative Vanna Howard  will be partnering with Representative Dr. Tami Gouveia, along with the Massachusetts Military Support Foundation (MMSF) to distribute brand new winter coats to veterans and military personnel. These coats will be provided at no cost through MMSF’s Coats4Vets program.

The Coats4Vets event will be held at the Chelmsford Senior Center, located at 75 Groton Road in North Chelmsford on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

MassWorks Infrastructure Program Grant Announcement

Celebrate the Town of Bedford award announcement of the $500,00 MassWorks infrastructure program grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts!

The event takes place Wednesday, November 17, 2021. The program will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by light refreshments. 

The program will take place outdoors. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Parking is free.

Training Opportunity for Health Care Workers

Registration is now open for the Fall 2021 Comprehensive Outreach Education Certificate (COEC) Program at Lowell Community Health Center. COEC is a is a two-part training program that introduces Community Health Workers(CHWs) and other frontline health workers to a way of understanding health from a public health perspective. The training encourages participants to become proficient in a variety of health issues affecting diverse communities.

Training is broken down into two-parts, Core Courses and Health Modules. All the CORE trainings will be held virtually on Zoom and the health modules are self-paced online modules. These courses may be taken as stand alone, or as part of the COEC Certificate on a rolling basis.
